On the Verge

"Every day of our lives
we are on the verge
of making those slight changes
that would make all
the difference".
~Mignon McLaughlin - The Neurotic Notebook~

Is choosing misery over change all that?

must be.

where is our adventure?
we need a sense of adventure to make change
really?

too many quick remedies

 available
sacharine delights

to obscure the real

 perpetuate our misery

 cloud over those clarion moments
when

we hear that voice of self

beyond our thoughts

on the verge
asking

why not?

Whoa, You know the sound you hear when your eyes see the wave crest and there is that gap between what your eyes hear and what your ears hear when the crest goes whooosh? That's the sound that suspension this transported me to:

cloud over those clarion moments
when
we hear that voice of self
beyond our thoughts
on the verge
asking
why not?

That voice of self - I hear it beyond the other chatter in my head. Thanks goodness! I love your photos Marcella. Especially the final one where the sky is lavendar. Spectacular.
